With nine ranked teams, including seven in the top eight of their respective classes, the Mississippi Valley Conference is once again loaded with talented teams.
Cedar Falls showed on Tuesday why they just may be the best of that group.
The Class 5A top-ranked Tigers rolled to a 25-12, 25-14, 25-16 sweep of No. 12 City High in a Mississippi Valley Conference Valley Division match in Iowa City.
Grace Burken and Taylor Lynch each had 12 kills as Cedar Falls improved to 27-2 on the season with its 14th straight win.
Emily Clapp, Cynthia Wolf and Claire Gerdes each had seven kills as the Tigers recorded their 13th sweep during their current 14-match winning streak.
Alexa Aldrich Ingram had seven mills and 12 assists for City High (12-9) which lost for just the second time in its last nine matches.
Shannon James and Shannon Stamp each had five kills for City High and Grace Brown had 14 digs for the Little Hawks.
